What’s ‘accredited’? Accredited is someone that makes 200,000 a year for the last two years, has at least 300,000 combined, million net worth, not including their home; experience in managing their personal portfolio; been qualified, the stuff I sell, for 25 to $50,000. So, oil-and-gas, we know what that is. Accredited- be careful, because if you don’t specify ‘accredited’, and you’re doing a private placement, you’re gonna have a guy that when they ask him “Are you an accredited investor?” he’s gonna say “No, I don’t even know what that means.” ‘Accredited’ is important. Most of your Reg D 504, 505, 506, especially the 506 C, and now the crowd-funding stuff, they need to be accredited. So do not forget to specify, ‘”Hey, I’m looking for oil-and-gas leads”, “I’m looking for crowd-funding leads”, whatever it is you’re looking for, but they gotta be accredited. So, just ask for ‘accredited crowd-funding leads’ or ‘accredited oil-and-gas investors’ or ‘accredited real estate investors’.
